Evidence is the only thing that changes a finding.
Every vendor is evaluated under the same methodology, from the same kinds of sources. That is what makes a finding about your product worth reading, and worth citing. The full method is on the methodology page.

What vendors ask us.
What does a claimed profile cost?
Nothing. Claiming, adding documentation and responding to findings are free, with no card and no time limit.
Can anything other than evidence change a finding?
No. Findings change only when the evidence changes. Every vendor is evaluated under the same methodology, and nothing about a vendor's relationship with Stackrate affects a finding, a status or its placement.
Can I have a finding removed?
Findings are not removed on request. If one is wrong, respond with your evidence. Once approved, your response appears alongside the finding and future comparisons can cite it.
Are my uploaded documents shared?
Confidential uploads are never shared with other vendors or published. See the Vendor Terms for how uploaded material is handled.
Will there be paid plans?
Yes, for vendors who want more, such as buyer introductions and analytics. Claimed vendors hear about them first.
